Meine Familie und ich ziehen einige Zeit im Spätsommer, früh aus den USA, nach Belgien. Ich habe mich gefragt, ob Herbst -Hayrides in Belgien eine Sache waren. Wir lieben es, fast jedes Jahr Hayrides zu nehmen, und ich würde diese Tradition gerne am Leben erhalten, wenn es möglich wäre. Bearbeitet, um hinzuzufügen: Im Allgemeinen werden Heuriden nicht auf öffentlichen Straßen durchgeführt (zumindest nicht dort, wo wir sind, aber ich konnte es möglicherweise in kleineren ländlichen Gemeinden sehen).

Not exactly but sometimes they would tour visitors around that way if the farm participates in agriculture day. There are also rentable services that do this but the tractor is pulling more an oregon trail style carriage. Here we refer to these as “huifkar”
For halloween almost every town has a “halloweentocht” wich is kinda like a haunted hayride but its done as a hike. But if you are with kids check with the community what type they do in your town as in some towns they tend to go all out and in others its toned down for kids.
No, not at thing. Pretty sure it would not even be allowed on public roads. Halloween related activities aren’t that common, in general. You might find a covered wagon/huifkar ride in farming area. Where I live they do them during the summer fair.

That said, if you ask a farmer for it, they’d probably do it for fun, if you pay them a bit. Not sure they can take you on public roads, for any vehicle/trailer legally needs to have one seat per passenger, though. If you’re in small town it’s possible to ask the police for an exemption.
I’m from Pennsylvania and very familiar with autumn agritourism. Hay rides are not a thing here. You can find sometimes “pumpkin festivals” – there is one south of Brussels that did a “hayride” but it was nowhere near what’s typical in U.S. I have seen that in the NL there are larger fall festivals but they are too far away to be worth the trip so I haven’t checked them out yet. However there are still fun things to do in the autumn, including apple picking and Halloween events, so while it’s not the same, it can still be a festive season.
Belgium is mostly industrial and not very rural, certainly not like some US places
