  1. Even though i don’t believe, i still hope the new generation in Turkey (Kanzi) will go easy on Kurds then what i see on internet. Just to let all of you know the New generation is secular nationalists with strong ideas of Kemalism and tend to justify every expansionist action of their country with stupid reasons so think it as a Russian style propaganda and a war machine which prevents to have contra narratives by popularizing arguments which sounds illogical to any avarage European.
They live in a brainwashing society and u might think what about internet? They keep telling themselves that; “no where in the world is as beautiful as their country and their culture is moderate cause all Europeans are degenerate.

Once when i was talking with avarage Kanzi regarding the Kurdish problem in my uni, he said something like: “There is no Kurdish problem and they are double faced, when they go to EU countries and done good job they say we are Kurdish but when they done something bad they say we are Turkish. Also It is not good to show too much understanding.”

Soo yeah I don’t see a good future for Kurds.

it’s wild to see how Turks are so nationalistic, to an extreme extent, this is being seen as treachery to the Turkish State by a substantial part of the population. Even though I don’t trust Erdog, not even one bit regardless of the actors at hand, peace between the kurds and turks, is a good development. If it holds that is, the KCK is still operational after all.

Edit: Erdoğan must have given some concessions to the kurds to make this happen perhaps promises of more minority rights in the new constitution that they are planning, or kurdish being accepted as a recognized minority language, or perhaps kurdish being the main language in the southeast of Turkey, who knows.

There are problems of course, this process hasn’t been transparent, but one can’t really expect transparency from an autocratic state. The willingness to pursue this “peace” further is still a big question. Lastly there will be elements and groups against peace between the two communities. One of them being the ultra nationalist Zafer Partisi, the other being MHP after Bahçeli. The Lausanne treaty is basically sacred for the Turks, to see parts of it being overwritten might make them have animosity against the Kurds, which could create and environment similar to the 80s and 90s.
