Having signed a massive NIS 14 billion deal to buy Israel’s Arrow 3 missile defense system, Germany is now looking to procure the next generation Arrow 4, which is still under development.
The Arrow 4 is designed to complement the Arrow 3 and cover higher altitude threats above the Patriot system’s range.
Germany sees economic and operational advantages in Arrow 4, as it can use existing Arrow 3 infrastructure.
