Der Kohle -Sack -Nebel

The Coal Sack Nebula • 10-05-25

Here’s one of my first images with my new lens! Just below the southern cross sits this massive dark nebula. I’m really impressed on how much detail I was able to pull out especially considering being taken in a Bortle 6 sky and nearly full moon. It still amazes me how many stars are out there that we simply can’t see with our own eyes!
