Yes. I don’t care Liberals NDP CPC whatever we drastically need to reduce strategic voting and make it worthwhile to vote for. If we had proportional representation Liberals would have 15 seats from Saskatchewan and Alberta, Tories would have 18 seats in Quebec.
Would mean more regional representation in caucus.

No way the Liberals will do this. The only way they are implementing electoral reform is with ranked ballots which would massively favor the Liberals. This is not going anywhere.
Proportional representation is the way to go, I doubt we will ever see it.

I’d be okay with MMP + Ranked ballots. Parties can have a handful of proportional seats so every vote counts, but not so many that a bunch of crazy fringe parties get more representation than they deserve in legislatures.

Yes, we should. I prefer STV or otherwise something else that doesn’t enshrine the party system as much as the standard MMP does. Especially if it is paired with overall reform of Parliament as a whole.

I like the idea, but am hesitant because no matter which party is passing electoral reform, it will be inherently partisan and will most likely benefit that specific party.
