“Given that Mr. Poilievre expects to be back in the House of Commons by this summer, he will not take the House of Commons severance,”. The severance payout is estimated to be worth $154k.
Wow, how big of Skippy. Screws a party member out of a 200k a year salary so he can continue to get 300k a year doing nothing but whining about what the other party is doing, but he’s a hero because he didn’t take a severance package of 154k. I don’t think there is a politician in Canada that has any integrity or honor or even pride.
Slow clap for the obvious as the man who says he’s reflecting on change to attraction more people settles in to separatist country after paying for his seat .

Cool. I’m more interested in knowing if the MP he is evicting from the riding he won is gonna get the same severance. Technically he got the job for at least a week.
Genius level intellect here, save the taxpayer $150 so that he can cost them $2 **million** to get reelected not 6 months after he lost an election.
A no-brainer to reject the severance benefit; he’d be ridiculed in the House.
But, given he is missing his very generous salary, this begs the question: question:
Is Skippy being paid a salary by the Conservative Fund of the Conservative Party of Canada, as is permitted by the party’s charter?
