      >A two-minute-long takedown of his trade policies on MSNBC sent the president into a rage on Friday.

      >“Donald Trump is backed into a corner,” said MSNBC business host Stephanie Ruhle. “His grand plans of ‘tariffs, tariffs, tariffs,’ aren’t working. You’re seeing day in and day out more business leaders—whether it’s Warren Buffett, or Jamie Dimon, or Ken Griffin—on big global stages saying, ‘This is going to crush us economically.’ And then you’ve got congressmen, senators from every state, saying to this White House, ‘Our small businesses are strangling, are dying here.’ I’m not saying Donald Trump has changed what he thinks in his heart, but he’s backed into a corner and he needs to get off this crazy tariff train, and he knows it.”

Talking to Trump is like talking to my dog about economics. I don’t know why journalists even bother talking to him…

    3. _Last_Primate on

      His entire administration is corrupt.
They’re actively razing the U.S. to the ground in plain view.
      For who?

meltdown meltdown meltdown. The favorite word to use. Tell us how his poll numbers are dropping again too… None of it matters.

All I want is for Americans to think that adults throwing temper tantrums is not awesome masculinity, but instead think it is weak and the behavior of a child again.

Christ I’m tired of these „total meltdown“ headlines. Trump has been in a perpetual state of „total meltdown“ for the past decade–perhaps his entire life.

what donnie dumpo hates the most is the archiving of every fuck up he’s ever done. the internet will never forget and will not ever stop to remind everyone of all his fuck ups.

    8. „Melting down“ every single day in every headline really waters down every news headline.

      He SLAMS the reporter next?

    9. francois_du_nord on

Trump is waffling. His much vaunted negotiation tactics are being laid bare as nothing more than the ravings of a mad man. The rest of the world has figured out that together they can call his bluff.

As the impacts of the slow down in the economy and tariffs are felt on mainstream, the critical articles in the media will grow in number. This will cause Demented Donnie to rage even more. He is incapable of understanding the consequences of his actions. That is why he’s saying the good parts of the economy are due to him, and the bad parts are ‚over-hang‘ from Biden.

He’s going to cave like a sand castle in waves during a rising tide.

    10. I for one support Mr Trump in his tariff policy. He sure is making me look bad! If he continues I will be in a terrible situation.

      Sincerely Xi Jinping

      Edit; it’s sarcasm

    11. I don’t think it counts as a „meltdown“ when it happens multiple times a day, every single day.

„Trump gets angry“ gets fewer clicks for advertisers, but it informs us more accurately about our world.

      >Trump Has Total Meltdown After . . .

His meltdowns aren’t even really “news” anymore

    13. Didn’t he say fewer imports meant the US is losing less money!!!

      Lol. He’s terrible at business

    14. lostsailorlivefree on

I was watching it live and thought “no yelling or hype, she’s just layin it out with that husky voice whilst making direct eye contact with me…” wait what was the topic??

    15. Stephanie Ruhle isn’t just sharp—she’s good looking too, and I think Trump might have a bit of a crush on her.

Every time she gets up there and lays down the facts, it clearly triggers him.

    16. And you know he was extra pissed off because it was a *woman* who said it this time. ***Good.***

    17. This is the 17th „meltdown“ I’ve seen this week…

Someone needs to give these journalists a new adjective.

    18. kummer5peck on

He should be in an old folks home having tantrums when they won’t give him McDonalds. Not in the White House sabotaging the global economy.

      >Trump chooses not to engage with any of Ruhle’s arguments, instead choosing to focus on her demeanor and her workplace.

      Typical piece of shit Trump.

    20. Good for Stephanie Ruhle. It’s about time the cold, hard truth is spelled out in detail for those Americans still living in a Trump fantasyland. Too bad if Trump doesn’t like to hear truth. It’s his reality and soon, all of us will be feeling it.

    21. WallyMetropolis on

What is this obsession this sub has with headlines about „meltdowns“?

    22. I’m not saying he’s a Russian asset, but he’s doing everything a Russian asset would do. To a T.

    23. “*Stephanie Ruhle spew LIES about Tariffs, as do many others, **in order not to give me the Victory** that they all see coming.*”

And there it is – setting up now to be someone/everyone else’s fault when his plans go to shit.

    24. Anyone outside of the MAGA cult who listens to Ruhl speak and Trump speak guess easily ascertain who’s the Low IQ individual. And it sure as hell isn’t Ruhl.

    25. Meltdown is over used. Just call it what it is: a baby tantrum, yelling like a toddler, shouting to the wind, whining like a baby, crying like a baby, ya get the picture.

    26. Guys guys it just has to get a little worse before it gets better. Anyone hear that one?

    27. elammcknight on

Trump says „Few people know Stephanie Ruhle, but I do, and she doesn’t have what it takes,” what it takes? What it takes for what, to do a trade deal? If Biden had dementia he has Super Dementia and needs to just stop.

    28. FlopShanoobie on

I want to start counting the number of “total meltdowns” MAGA has every day according to Reddit, and note that these meltdowns have zero effect on policy, and in fact only seem to j dictate an acceleration.

After the first term . Why in the name of God would you think it would be better this time ? You got played !

    31. Fit-Significance-436 on

He’s such a shit show, his stance on changing tariffs every hour undermines his efficacy and exposes him as a pathetic loser open to the last suggestion he just heard.

    32. mikehawkins1963 on

NO. NO Fucking NO. He needs to stay the course. He needs to bring our country to a crushing disaster that we can’t return from for 2 decades. That’s the only thing that will bury this MAGA fuckstain movement. Then serious, intelligent, younger people can begin to rebuild this country. I say this as a 63 year old man who has given up on my age group ever helping anyone but themselves.
