Hopefully Trump is facing enough local backlash and we do get a ‚deal‘ soon. I’m not interested in buying anything from the US but a lot of our businesses depend on the US as a customer or supplier. It is easy to say businesses can get their material from another country or to sell to another country but the facts are most Canadian businesses are closer to the US border than the other end of Canada and products move cheaper by truck and train than by cargo ship.

I hope Trump’s race towards the greatest depression ends soon and something closer to normal relations can return but he’s not done pretending this is all working great.
