If nothing else, extending the olive branch will make it *very* obvious that Smith is acting in bad faith when she inevitably comes up with a new list of insane demands

One would think all the talks of pipelines and infrastructure corridors were exactly the olive branch in question. Or was that just chopped liver to them.
What, exactly, is it that they expect beyond that?

What do they want, anyway? Most of the demands smith has been making are non-starters, such as the health care fiasco and provincial policing, not to mention wanting to leave Canada over hurt feelings.
But if all they want is a pipeline to Quebec, let them fund it themselves, just gotta stamp approved and negotiate with the 1000 first nations and other city’s/towns/property in the way for them. Should only take 10+ years to implement a plan for one.

You could literally buy Alberta a $30 billion pipeline, elect a PM raised in Alberta and they would still say Liberals hate the west

I hate how this issue is framed as “the west”
The Liberals and Carney won the most seats out here in B.C. AND won the popular vote this time around, and made large inroads in the interior. So there’s no olive branches needed for us.
We literally voted for the guy.
