Did Dodos make this much noise before extinction?

Just go already lads, and go quietly.

Latest Yougov polling is putting Tories 13% behind Reform and 1% ahead of Lib Dems. The coalition that Cameron, May and Johnson held together has splintered in 5 different directions. We may very well see Tories going down the path of the Canadian Progressive Conservatives in the 90s when they lost some 150 seats down to 2 seats.

And the best part is no one will miss them.

Nah, they will definitely start to turn the corner if they just keep harping on about trans people. People definitely don’t want to hear about any plans to improve their lives or dumb stuff like that.

What a silly headline. Politicians don’t ‚rule out‘ because the moment they do that the next gotcha question comes.

      >He added: “It’s also important not to exaggerate the woes of the Conservative Party. We’re less than a year after the heaviest defeat in our history. It’s very unlikely having kicked us out, voters are going to come running back to the Conservatives within just a matter of months and we do need to have a period of reflection and it is going to take a few years before people will give us another look.

      >“But I think over time they will because no one speaks to the conservative values that I think most people recognise are very important for the country, a party that’s pro-business, understands wealth creation, understands aspiration and will run the economy well and I think by the time it comes to the next general election people are really going to want a party that stands for that.”

I think Jezza might be severely underestimating the catastrophic damage the last 10 or so years has done to the Conservative brand of ‚bastards but will at least generally run the economy competently.‘

They are doomed – what is their voter base? Literally everyone despises them.

They will merge with Reform and have Farage as their leader imo. Being the leader of the oldest political party in the world will feed frog man’s ego, no way he would turn down the chance.

All Hunt had to do was be a good Chancellor, he should have lowered taxes and budgeted our money better. How much crap did he found. He is to blame along with a few others.

    8. Local elections are not general elections

With the councils that were actually contested its likely Labour would have done better and in a real GE the Tories would have done better simply by being the major right wing party

I think the next GE is likely to be a 4 way split if nothing changes. Which will be interesting.

I wonder where the torch paper was lit? Cameron putting in the 2015 manifesto for an EU referendum to push back UKIP?
