There is no grounding here, so, if you plug device, which expects to have two prongs on sides to be grounded, it won’t be, and someone will be able to answer if 240V is painful enough to die or not.

It is good enouch only for cellphone chargers that by default do not use ground but neutral instead.
They are not allowed anymore as it keeps the plug open. You need a proper adaptor for EU plugs. Not this plastic thing.
Tons of these available in the north if you’re willing to take the trip.

Why though? There are adapters in basically every appliance store and supermarket and if you buy something electrical with eu plug they throw one in.

Super Home Center/Store had them a few years back.
They’re illegal now, is why they’re hard to find.
You also shouldn’t use them, very dangerous.
Honestly just confirmed with my electrician that my house sockets aren’t connected in a ring. Will be changing a few wall outlets to shucko. No more need for adapters.
But really, why would you need that? Normal grounded adapters are dirt cheap besides being safe

An adaptor that is actually fused and can actually handle any device you plug in it. That little palstic thing won’t protect your device when it is plugged in.
