And only she can save their chance at beating Jon Ossoff. Kemp shouldn’t even bother.

The bad thing is that there’s little morsels of her point in here that are correct. Which is the worst possible scenario when we’re talking about MTG being a person who almost has a point.

(I mean the things she’s advocating for are terrible but she’s right that voters want those things)

    3. The only time you hear republicans speak out, and the only thing they ever speak about, is their election chances being hurt.

      Fuck them all

    4. Both left and right are lamenting the attacks on social security, Medicare, Medicaid, and veterans and she thinks “taxes on tips” is going to bring back support of Trump?
UPS just laid off 20,000 people. Skechers just got bought and will likely start lay offs.
Read the fucking room, Marge, you guys Trumped yourselves

Beside the point, but anybody else thinks Magic the Gathering when they see MTG?

    6. That’s the first sane thing I’ve ever heard her say.

Edit: well, I read the article. It’s not sane at all. It’s claiming republicans aren’t maga enough.

    7. Large Marge is not 100% in touch with reality.

She claims that in the election ballot for 2026 „Trump’s not on that, he’s not on the ballot in 2026” but in a very real way he definitely is.

IF they lose the mid-terms, it will be 100% a total reaction to Trump and his shenanigans. Elections are won and lost in the margins, and Trump is scaring the people in the margins right now. They will blame MAGA for what Trump is doing.

Per the article she seems to be focused on keeping MAGA promises to MAGA followers, or face the wrath of the people. But most of the MAGA chuds are obsequious sycophants in a cult, so it’s ok to break promises to them because they won’t notice. No one they listen to will tell them.

Those campaign promises were made specifically to MAGA because they were MAGA, the only people who were sure to …

      • believe the promises when made

      and

      • forget the promises when broken.

Big donors notice when promises to them are broken. The ones who are receiving phone calls from congressional representatives all over the United States and cutting big checks will notice. They are not in the cult, they have big egos and are motivated entirely by self interest. That’s why their agenda is on top.

The latest Republican tax plan still has taxes on tips, still has taxes on overtime, still has taxes on Social Security. But it has tax cuts for the big donors.

Yeah, but knowing her it’s because she doesn’t think Republicans are far right enough yet. They need to get to where Mussolini would be considered woke.

      > … because they’re not adhering strictly enough to the MAGA agenda.

      > Bannon, in turn, lamented that conservatives in both chambers weren’t completely on board with Trump’s plan.

      Yep, that sounds about right.

      >“I’m telling you. If you ignore the parents that are furious over Covid vaccines being on their childhood vaccine schedule, you’re gonna lose the midterms,” Greene argued. “If you ignore the campaign promises of no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security, you’re going to lose the midterms.”

      >“If you ignore the executive orders, the American people are like, yes, applauding for every single day, we’re going to lose the midterms,” she said.

LOL. She’s ignoring the polls that had Trump going off.

    10. They will suffer crushing losses because… Checks notes… Not batshit crazy enough.

      OK got it

    11. Lol, pretty sure that’s why they’re discontinuing voting. It’s too… messy.

I do think that the republicans are going to lose „bigly“ in the next primaries. My only thought is they are trying to support Trump gaining total authoritarian power and not have elections even be a thing in the future. I actually don’t think that’ll happen, but barring that, there is not a chance in the world that congress won’t be blue by a significant margin come 2026 elections.

Democrats and independents are completely fed up by now, and republicans are starting to lose faith except for the true believers who can’t be swayed by anything. Thankfully there aren’t enough of them to overcome the massive momentum against trump. As his failures keep mounting, he will fall out of favor with more and more people.

I think that one under reported story is how possibly half of maga thinks republicans aren’t being fascist enough

What elections? You mean the ones they rig with gerrymandering? No way they win the house without cheating. How can we beat that? F the reds man.

    15. yogurtslinger2 on

No they won’t. They’ll declare the election rigged like last time.

    16. Listening_Heads on

Damn. The woman who is always wrong about everything just said Republicans are gonna lose. Not good news.

    17. Mark my words: To the White House, it doesn’t matter any more. They are speed running making elections never matter again. We won’t get real elections in 2028. Good job electing Trump for ‚reasons.‘ America as we know it is over.

    18. aircooledJenkins on

She didnt like that polling that put her dead last in a senate race

    19. It’s always all about them…never their constituent, the American people and the country.

    20. Sideshow_Bob_Ross on

Good. Take back the House and Senate. Impeach and arrest the lot of them.

    21. Yes. You will lose badly. Your racism, misogyny , corruption and hate earned it. Reasonable Americans don’t like thieves and liars.

    22. In case you’re confused… she wishes the administration did even harsher things than they’re already doing.

    23. Yep I agree, they should turn on him before it’s too late, but they’re too scared
