      I don’t know how Amazon displays games in these lists but it might be simply because Germanys population is bigger and a game doesn’t appear on this list until it has sold above a certain volume of units. I never had a problem getting any game or console.

      it’s been a problem for quite a while. most likely in my opinion it’s a misconfiguration of the products in their system, as there is absolutely no reason for a sold and shipped by amazon-de (marketplace vendors are different) item (except for regulated or specially taxed products like alkohol) to not be available in Austria; products sold on their síte are sent from warehouses across Europe, it simply doesn’t make sense, except some nitwit probably mistaking Austria for Australia. But try talking or explaining that to the „customer service“ … that department has seen better days as well.

      and since the orange man is in office it’s „biggly time“ smart to look for alternatives.

      I always use Geizhals for games and buy the cheapest offer from different websites

      Try „AllesPost Deutschland“ by the national post service (post.at) when an item can only ship to DE, you can use their address but your name and they will forward it to you for a small fee.

      I checked your example, it really is a bit weird.

      My personal theory is that Post AT got fed up by all the packages from Amazon DE and blocked them from flooding us. The order volume spiked with the pandemic and never went back to pre-pandemic levels, austrian post can’t keep up.

      Two of three items I had an abo have no more delivery options to Austria, so yes it got worse.
