      > Research has revealed that over £3.77 billion in government contracts has been awarded to private companies since 2015 for managing border security and small boat crossings in the English Channel.

Money well spent, a strong argument for private contracts in public sector work.

    2. Whos betting the companies are owned by friends/relatives of the people awarding the contracts!

    3. Yeah the public sector definitely couldnt have done a better job of this, border control for small boat crossings is so efficient

    4. £3.77 Billion for border “security” when anyone can jump on a boat and get an escort directly to British shores without a passport.

      What a waste.
