      Also, Hollywood will crumble if it cannot take advantage of weaker currencies and costs in offshore productions.

      So what that tells me is other countries will either tariff movies (so Hollywood takes the hit from both sides) or they stop showing movies from the U.S. which also kills Hollywood overseas box office game…

      This idiot will end up doing more damage than the writer strikes.

      So, the president has verrry limited power to institute tariffs without congress. He had to lie about drugs and gangs (ie a national emergency) to get around it for his earlier round of tariffs.

      So how exactly does he have the power to tarrif movies made outside the US? Is he now claiming that actors are smuggling drugs into the country?

      This is the most stupid thing I have ever heard of. There is no mechanism for this to even be a thing, or have tariffs collected lol
