Do it, there’s a shortage of blue-collar workers anyways since everyone convinced millennials they’re bad jobs.

Oh boy, here come the fake lefties. After crying about work for 20 years straight they’ll all line up here to lick their master’s boots and beg master to keep beating them.
They never wanted progress, they’re just against whatever is now no matter what it is.

Get into trades is becoming the new “learn to code”. Robotics and automation will eventually get into that too.

AI robots will be a huge business in 10 years. It’s only a question of if they will be mostly Chinese or mostly American.

We are so very, very far away from robots being a cheaper alternative to human skilled labor. 20k for a robot that just carries and lifts heavy objects isn’t exactly a death sentence to blue collar work.
We’ve had robots that can deliver food to people’s houses, but doordashers and uber eats delivery drivers remain and those robots aren’t much more than a novelty in the inner cities

I fuckin hope so. I’m tired of working jobs that are bad for my body and don’t pay enough to provide me with the kind of life I want

Good luck getting a robot to replace an actuator insert 25 ft in the air with a 4 in steam pipe in the way.
