      I mean, to a degree, he’s right.

      I hate both sides-ism, since the GOP is a far bigger problem, but the Democrats fucked us over by going right on issues, and now they’re blaming woke-ism for the loss instead of themselves.

      They sold us out to cater to “moderate” Republicans, and when that predictably didn’t work, they blamed trans people.

      “both sides” is a terrible way to look at politics. it discourages involvement and action. Politics is an imperfect vehicle for change but to hold out being a part of the struggle because the results won’t be perfect is foolish

      Who cares what he has to say? He lives in a bubble, and the “both sides” answer is a sign of cowardice when one of those sides will destroy many lives especially in communities that are already struggling. Thanks for nothing Denzel, at the end of the day, you are still just an actor so get down your golden tower and see if both sides are the same… they are not.

      Hold on which of those movies in the 90’s were clunkers? I’ve seen Crimson Tide, He Got Game, The Pelican Brief, Devil in a Blue Dress, and The Bone Collector. Thought those were all decent to good.

      This isn’t the issue. That’s essentially how politics works. Call it manipulation if you want, but each side is trying to do whatever it can to convince people to vote for them.

      The real question people need to be asking is:

      To what end?

      It’s blatantly obvious one side is trying to steer the ship away from the storm, while the other is drilling holes in the sides.

      That’s what should be guiding everyone when they think about which political candidates to support.

      People can’t even be trusted to vote for the lesser of two evils so maybe once the dictatorship starts within next few years, people will realize that they’ve been manipulated too late. Once the right to vote has been eliminated via the new autocracy, there’ll be no need to manipulate anymore. You’re onto something, Denzel, give us more words of wisdom.

      That suggests there is some equality in the way in which the parties look at people, and that’s just bullshit!
      There is no purity in politics, but the masses of people are going to get more of their needs by Democrats, than they will by Republicans. Republicans only care about the top 10% of the top 1%, period!

      If you’re trying to motivate people to get involved, great. But unless you can mobilize so many people to vote for certain for a third party in two years, why bother pointing out AGAIN that both sides are malevolent?
