I know this is about intervention in US politics, but, as we all know by now, Russian trolls interfere in Europe as well. They *will* interfere in national and EU elections later this year. This post is mainly about US elections in 2016, but things have only gotten worse since then. Much, much worse.

We really need to do more about Russian trolls and propaganda. They pose one of the greatest threats to our democratic societies. This subreddit itself is being heavily invaded by Russian trolls, pushing the most divisive content.

Russia is undermining political opinions, bribing politicians, killing people on European soil. Imagine Goebbels could broadcast propaganda everywhere, this could change the course of WWII, that’s what Russia is doing now. Europe need to take action now with counter-propaganda and by blocking everything tied with Russia asap, before too many people are on their hook.
