      I’m surprised people are pro sterilization of kids. Isn’t this what hormone therapy and surgery are? Like a person can’t go back and have kids once puberty is reversed right? That seems like a harsh thing to do to someone without a fully developed brain.

      Plenty of ways to say it, and it is important to analyze why NP chose the headline they did.

      Just to be clear: It is because National Post is run by, and “almost half of Canadians” are, just a bunch bigots.

      Really strange because on the whole, there aren’t any kids getting hormones and surgeries, so it’s kind of a strange thing to poll people on.

      To any detractors, show me an example of a kid getting top or bottom surgery, it doesn’t happen and trans advocates usually don’t push for it.

      can I ask how many kids got surgery and at what age? assuming 18 is age appropriate to make the decision themselves as adults, how many kids under that age actually got surgery in 2020 to 2023 in Canada?

      are we talking dozens, hundreds or thousands?

      When I was in HS I was convinced I was a trans boy, I realized and accepted years later I was just a lesbian and just liked presenting more masculine. If I was validated and allowed to transition then I ABSOLUTELY would have. But since I’ve grown out of it.

      Kids CANNOT be allowed to choose this path, as adults its their business but kids need to be protected
