Ich habe einen Eclipse-Filter für mein Telefon gekauft. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich es richtig verwende. Alles, was ich bekomme, ist schwarz. Was muss ich tun, um ein Bild von der Sonnenfinsternis zu bekommen?

    The only thing you should be able to see with a proper eclipse filter is the sun. It should be a distinct orange ball in the sky and absolutely nothing else.

    If you can see literally *any other* light through it, it’s not safe to look at the sun with it.

    Take a photo of the sun tomorrow using the filter. It will be visible but nothing else. On eclipse day you’ll see the shape of the moon

  4. Get an app like Solar Snap to use WITH the filter, it allows you to easily adjust exposure and stuff and has a couple of “presets”. I used that for the annular eclipse last year with a filter (in addition to my “real” cameras) and it worked pretty well.

    For totality, ONLY when the sun is completely blocked, you don’t need a filter. Take a couple of quick snaps and then just enjoy it.
