Surely this will shut down any “two tier policing” conspiracies, right, right??

I think everyone needs to cool off and learn to have conversations again, no matter how uncomfortable those conversations may be. This game of ping-pong where one side demonises the other and vice versa is leading to nothing but division. We need to trim the fat and allow the moderate voices to take centre stage.

    That was real?

I thought it was fake. Crowd cheered him on!

Who the hell are these people!

There is nothing wrong with being anti immigration. There is nothing wrong being pro-immigration. Either are acceptable stances in a democracy.

Using violence and fear to force your opinion on others is wrong, whether far left or far right. Most people agree that the far right are dickheads, it’d be cool if we catch up with everyone having the same opinion about the extreme left.

People like this definitely need to be silenced.. we had enough violence

this is that thing that’ll never happen because of the tooter system or some other rubbish right?

So we have used the term The Far Right for the protesters using or instigating violence

So shouldn’t the media be doing the same for this individual and calling him FAR LEFT????

    Edit
Just for clarification I’m centre right in my political beliefs

The moment any resorts to violence or instigates violence to further their agenda – lose all credit in my eyes, I don’t care if your left wing right wing, centre. Just don’t be a plonker and we are all good

Labour are having a terrible time in their first few weeks.

I wonder how the Conservatives would of handled all this. Not very well for sure, but this is just embarrassing and it’s making Kier look pathetic.

Edit: honestly the lefties on here are embarrassing. Down voting literally anything that doesn’t fit the narrative that Labour will bring change.

Why are incidents like these used against Reform as if it defines them,  but despite a large amount of incidents like this among Labour over the years,  they remain the the “good” party, the “nice” party “for the people”, it is never used to aggressively demonise the party?

    Absolute Jeremy Hunt!
    Fascism lives everywhere!!!
Why do stupid people NOT see this.
    The clue is the statement!

Glad to see he’s been arrested, who says vile stuff like that.

As a Labour councilor he really should have known better. He could have easily implored people to “do what is necessary” to protect their communities or call on the police to be more “vigorous” in getting these mongrels in check… but he really shat the bed with this.

I don’t think being suspended from the Labour party is his biggest concern right now.

I imagine he’s looking at a pretty hefty prison sentence.

This is the problem that mass left gathering will bring. It’ll be this & it’ll likely to words out of somebody within 3 foot of a Palestinian flag. The spike of anti-semitism from the UK activists’s Palestine crusade, has been traumatising for British Jews. Many of the people last night looked like a very invested free Palestine herd. Some of those people have made the Jews feel exactly the same the yobs they’re protesting about have made Muslims feel. That wasn’t a peace rally. This a class issue between sets of intolerant people. Last night it looked a bit like – Even though daddy brought you that pony, you have every right to dictate immigration to those who are actually affected by it.
There’s no virtue in having a partial pro Palestine March because people are concerned about mass immigration & yobs are throwing bottles at police officers, smashing up a Greggs & setting a bin on fire

  15. He was clearly speaking figuratively. Keith “fire everything” Starmer at it again.

Lol, this guy is fucked. Keir can’t even go easy on him due to ‘two tier Kier’..

He’s gunna get the book chucked at him, so probably an actual custodial.

Labour councillor… Not for long, what a muppet throwing a cushy job like that away.

Can this be categorised as terrorism based on what he said and the setting? Does inciting a mob to go and kill your political opponents terrorism count as inciting terrorism?

Also how did someone with these views get through Labour’s candidate selection process? I’m worried there could be other Labour politicians who hold these views and just aren’t stupid enough to admit it on camera.

I don’t how it can be considered extreme left to threaten violence against a violent group themselves.

Threatening violence isn’t okay, but it’s worth nothing the people he calls for violence for are the people who willingly use violence themselves in the name of their prejudice.
