How about law makers, stop passing laws that protect criminals. The reason why is so bad, they know they can get away with it. Just shows how broken Canada really is.
“Take those down, you’re inconveniencing the car thieves.” -Toronto Police (probably)
So thieves will still break into your house to get the keys and retract the bollards…
It’s insane that we’re getting to this, it will work but it could also make things worse.
When I was 11, in South Africa, we were ambushed coming out of our gate later in the evening. With some evasive maneuvering, and nearby police we managed to survive unscathed.
We moved to SK a few years later, I couldn’t comprehend leaving the front door unlocked in the town we moved to.
Now, in 2024, I’m discussing getting this exact thing done on our driveway as other’s in our neighbourhood have installed fences and gates. Reading the TPS statement brought all those memories back, and not the pleasant ones lol.
Isn’t that a Ferrari? Makes sense I guess but go ahead and take my civic lol I need a new car
This is why I probably won’t buy an expensive car. Too much headache.
>Brad Lucas felt forced to invest in bollards last February after his white **Ferrari GCT4Lusso** was nearly stolen right out of his driveway.
“I had just gotten the car,” he said. “**It was parked in the driveway**, I’d had it for about a week and a half.”
Two people had attempted to carjack the vehicle twice in one morning
While I am more than sympathetic to people targeted by car thieves, leaving a Ferrari outside in Toronto is a bold move. Dude needs a garage, not bollards.
I think I might start a bollard business, as well as private security. It will be extremely profitable as Canada falls into a free for all
Here is an Idea
15 years for grand theft auto
25 years if you use a gun while doing crime
Yet next time police want there raises no one will say a thing
Why has there been such a massive increase in car thefts all the sudden
You own a Ferrari but can’t afford a garage? When your priorities are messed up
People? More like Person.
