* Magyar said he opposes Hungary joining the 90B loan to Ukraine, but with the opt outs that Slovakia, Czechia and Hungary received he doesn’t see why it was blocked by Orban
* He supports Ukraine’s EU membership, but not an accelerated one and he would put it up to a referendum in Hungary
Orbán’s pro-Russia pandering on Ukraine? Straight-up pissing on the ‘56 heroes’ graves who fought Soviet tanks for freedom. Never got the upside of this strategy. Any insight would be appreciated.

This is a good start. But before i start buying Hungarian products again, I first want to see Hungary transporting weapons to Ukraine, supporting EU packages for arming Ukraine as well as taking steps to reduce Russian oil dependence. It’s a long process, but it needs to start first..,

It is rather ironic considering that [Orban](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g91-OTiXVkw) was one that spoke about Soviet repression in 56 and pushed for change after the collapse of the Soviet Union. But times change and people change, esp. after years of political rule.
