      What a novice. Everyone knows if you want to be a politician and a rapist, you need to run as a republican. Then you won’t lose any votes and won’t face any pressure from elected members of your party to drop out.

      I don’t like that there was any kind of hesitation on his part, but he did the right thing quickly enough.

      Now, contrast this with others who have done similarly, or something otherwise horrible…

      Say what you will about Democrats circular firing squad, but sometimes it does the right thing. And at least we are better at holding other Democrats accountable for their actions. Republicans can’t make that claim.
