It probably holds water for a sprinkler system I’m guessing if it isn’t just fake it be underground. Or you need water somewhere on the property just in case of a fire.

Let’s examine the most basic possibly and you can take it from there. Let’s say, apart from all the mythology of the area, it can be agreed that our government is doing something there. It doesn’t have to be aliens or uaps to cause the secrecy, it’s a pretty good area to test experimental aircraft. If you think this doesn’t happen in secrecy to keep it from the eyes of our perceived enemies, then you will not follow the rest of the argument.
So at the very least, the government has an area in the desert where they test experiment aircraft or technology. And they don’t want anyone to know about it. And then google comes along and starts snapping photos of everything. Clear, crisp photo that anyone in the world can access and study and analysis.
Anyone in the world, it’s important that you realize that part.
Now ask yourself, if you have this place and a company showing your secrets to everyone in the world, what would you do? If you can answer that question, you can pretty much answer the question you posted.
