How much would this DRIPA fallout (which ironically resulted from rulings that didn’t consider DRIPA) affect federal politics, and could this be a „lifesaver“ for the Poilievre Conservatives to win the national conversation on reconciliation if the Carney government doesn’t plan to repeal UNDRIP? After all, the Conservatives were able to make the consumer carbon tax unpopular, so they definitely have a shot at making reconciliation an increasingly toxic political endeavour especially when going by the polls, most British Columbians seem to have soured on DRIPA and Indigenous right in general.
