      Eh in a fair election, maybe. But this is Hungary. I expect a big majority but not a supermajority

      Wild how fast things can flip in Hungarian politics. Maybe worth following some independent Hungarian journalists on Twitter/YouTube to get a feel beyond the headline numbers. Anyone local worried about checks and balances?

      Wow, that’d be… much more ambitious than most projections I’ve seen that suggest Tisza could get a bit over 50% of the seats but not much more than that

      Always vote against JD & Trump. They’ve wrecked so much life for so many people in the US and globally just to steal $$, resources, and attention.

      My big question is still if Orban will concede or not. I can’t help but find it incredibly difficult to imagine someone like him trying to build a dictatorship around themselves, only to just throw the towel when an election is lost. I wouldn’t be surprised if come Monday we live in a world where Orban is actively refusing the acknowledge the election results as legitimate, and is trying to annul it.

      I really hope so, Poland is having a lot of problems because the populist right still have the ability to restrict government.

      Elections have been lost because people thought they were won.

      I literally never drink alcohol. There were two, maybe three times in my life when I was slightly tipsy. But if Tisza scores a supermajority, I’m going to get super wasted.

      We better hope for this outcome. It’s the only way that he can meaningfully undo a lot of shit done by Orbán. Just winning is goog, but not enough.

      Median is the only pollater that gives them the 20+ advantage. A safer bet would be a slight majority for Tisza, considering the insane levels of election skewing Fidesz did. Most pollsters give it 10-12 points in advantage on average. Hope I’m wrong though.

      I will be voting for Tisza. However I think orban will go full putin and this election is over before it is started. Why? 1) Orban’s propaganda continuously broadcast that they have majority, so that fake reality is created. His supporters live in that bubble and will not accept any other outcome. 2) Police stocked up on riot gear and have been conducting crowd clash drills in the last four weeks. 3) Orban is bringing in palookas from Serbia to incite riots. So, if we, the opposition can pull this off against trump, putin, Serbia, propaganda and miriad of clandedtine election manipulation, that will be an absolute miracle. If not, Hungary is gone, a lost cause and a sad end in Europe. Also a harbinger for every other nation where corrupt fake nationalists eat up democracy like cancer. So, root for us. We, the vast majority, want to topple orban.
