Not that they want to but Russia could join the EU maybe in a few decades or a century

I don’t see a future for Turkey in the EU. It’s too different from the other countries, and too big to simply let others decide for it.

Turkey and Morocco but not Russia lmao

Why is future membership for Morocco not possible but it is for Armenia? Both are not in Europe…
(And to be honest I fundamentally disagree with this „one needs to be European to be part of the EU“. I think there are other things more important than being European. I wouldn’t hesitate in renaming it to something else like Democratic Union or whatever.)

Britain, the once and future member.

I’m not opposed to Europe just taking all of Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, a shame about Russia though going down a dark path. Balkans all in to please.

Ukraine will take a decade to stabilize before realistically joining.
It would be madness to open up without stabilizing the rampant weapons black market and the thousands of PTSDed veterans.
Georgia has no business being in the EU, except sticking it to the Russians. Some urban areas could qualify as european, but the country as a whole totally doesn’t.
Armenian are 100% asians. Ad it is a pretty close ethocountry. Then again, adding Armenia would be useful to stick it to Turkey. More warmongering and meddling

Isn’t Iceland voting on it soon?

Ukraine will never, ever be a member of the European Union. Same with Turkey.

Switzerland will never be a part of the EU. They’re very well off where they are

I don’t think this imperialist bloc will expand that much. Maybe Montenegro, Albania will come, Moldova after unification with Romania.
Turkey is so big, and they dont want this perceived threat totheir domination.

I fail to see the need for Morocco to be on this map, especially since being refused into the EU is not a final solution.
Otherwise, you could put in red all the Maghreb, Syria, Iraq, Iran, etc.

Wait, what’s the context on Morocco? Why is it even listed on the map if it isn’t in Europe?

Pressing X to doubt lol. Our rightwing is constantly trying to CUT existing agreements with Europe. The left is busy maintaining existing bilateral agreements, no one wants to fight to convince people we should join the EU. We don’t really have any incentive to join. I mean, it’s technically „posssible,“ no one knows what can happen in the next hundred years, but it’s not looking likely.

can’t you kick Hungary out if they plump for Orban again???

For Azerbaijan and Belarus, future memberships are also theoretically possible, if they will turn to democracy.

Hilariously, one of the early arguments for Brexit was an EU expanding to Turkey. Old jolly Boris was telling everyone it’ll happen faster than we can say Leave if we’re not careful.
I say hilariously because so many people fell for it. You’ve gotta laugh, eh?
