      Look, things are going to get really bad in the future the way technology is developing, and people are going to have to come to terms with the fact that limitations on the internet’s anonymity may be the only way forward to limit shit like this.

      Expel the kids, hold the parents liable for the damage done.

      Parents should be civilly liable for the actions of their children. It’s a thing in some European countries, should be a thing here too.

      Would provide a strong incentive for them to actually get off their arses and parent their kids.

      It can be done in less that 30mins, and it’s not the tech companies at fault, it’s a new technological discovery that can’t be undiscovered now. You can’t ban it.

      I mean, I’m sadly not surprised this has happened, but it’s not something that is cured by „restrictions on children’s access to social media“ – especially when done by trying to age gate everyone online.

      Real consequences for those who do it is more likely to have an impact in preventing it from spreading (not necessarily legal, but making it a clearer an obvious offence to send/share these images may be the one good part of recent legislation, *if* it is followed up with resources)

      How is this even possible when all AI tools have filters that block the generation of NSFW images?

      Public prosecution of those doing this. It’s beyond the scope of schools. In a time where men have been scared off teachers, can’t let the same happen to female teachers too.

      Surely all we need to do is exclaim that boys are just boys, give them little consequence for doing this, not confront them in the slightest and that will solve the problem.

      AI for image creation should probably be banned outright.

      LLMs are enough to deal with lets focus on that first and stop this other slop generation medium

      We need to go back to traditional teaching methods,  like “ Noah thought it would be funny to make a video of Mrs Walker getting a train run on her so this afternoon children I want each of you to make a video of Noah sucking off a goat. Now remember this might be in the exam“.
