So while the Iranian regime is directly responsible for all those deaths, this just confirms the US and Israel provoked these bloody 48 hours, and lied about providing serious assistance. We see the *assistance* they’re giving now, blowing up a major bridge, and threatening to destroy power plants.
I can understand hope, but anyone thinking those two assholes were going to save Iran were deluded from the start.

That’s false. On top of that, when the nation-wide protests started, Trump deluded the protesters that help was coming and they shouldn’t stop. The first interventions came, what, a month + later? By that time the regime had already killed over 30k people.

If you were going to do something like this, one would have to methodically negotiate and vet the candidates create a safe place where training could take place, then coordinate and support offensive actions to bring down the regime. That would need about two to three years. Concurrently tracking of the enriched uranium would need to take place while inducing the scientists to jump ship. This should have started back in the 1990’s but each successive administration has dropped the ball

Journalists job isn’t to just parrot what a person says, but to hear it, then establish if there are facts to back it up and THEN report on it. Especially when the track record of the person speaking saying anything that is factual true is so abysmal. So frustrating..

Imagine is Iran publicly claimed it was arming No Kings protesters. Trump would be able to declare an emergency and have LEO shoot on sight.
