Awesome. I hope the global population halves
THANK FUCK. Really happy to see this and I hope it goes further down.
In this thread: people who hate humanity
Unfortunately it’s being skewed by insane births in the 3rd world
The planet (and our species) might actually stand a chance after all
Now, make it religion wise and discover the answer.
Good. It should collapse until a feedback mechanism corrects the current conditions
The decline from 2014 to the present is really significant.
Asia is over half the world so ideally should be broken down.
The big question is whether the decline will continue. China kept growing in population through the years of the one child policy. Countries whose fertility rates are 1.5 will still having growing population until the generation that is dying is 3/4 the size of the one having children.
Maybe if we didnt constantly feel like the world was ending we would reproduce more.
The title of your post is misleading. You make it seem like its rising i.e. „approaching replacement rate“.
More accurate description would be to say the global fertility rate is heading towards below replacement rate.
Don’t know about the country youse are from but it is not affordable to have kids here.
As everyone knows, microplastics are stored in the balls.
That’s a wild drop since 2018!
Also, last year I count as nice.
Didn’t I just see a graph on this sub about how earths population has more than doubled since the 70’s? At that rate maybe it’s time to slow the fuck down eh?
I predict a future where condos and buildings will be demolished or made in to larger units. There just won’t be that many people in the future with the way we reproduce.
when will this start to rise again?
It’s so funny how people were freaking about overpopulation, and now I guess the world’s economy is gonna collapse
