Ich bekomme die Sichtungen im pazifischen Nordwesten, aber was zum Teufel ist in der Umgebung von Pittsburgh, PA los?

Who do you even report to for a Bigfoot sighting? The police? Do they keep a record of it? Is there just a nationwide organization specially for sighting and recording instances of possible Bigfoot encounters?

  2. Thought this was my Fallout 76 sub for a second.

    The Pitt’s definitely weird.

Pretty sure this is a hoax, like, you’re telling me that there’s this 2 meter tall humanoid ape beast who supposedly lives in one of the most technologically equipped countries on the planet where everyone has a phone with good quality cameras and a gun and yet we don’t have footage which *doesn’t* look like it was shot on a potato and dead zero physical evidence over nearly 200 years? Not a single strand of fur? Not a single carcass? Not a single pile of shit? No proper footprints? Are they flying around in jetpacks and carrying bags in which they store their shit in if and when they have to? Do they have communication devices which help them track down any and all Bigfeet who randomly die of natural causes somewhere in the wilderness so that they can tactically bury them so that no pesky human finds it? Screw everything, that’s *wayyyy* too coordinated, even by human standards. I just don’t believe it, although r/bigfoot would have you believe otherwise.

  4. western PA had a huge bigfoot flap in the seventies for some reason.

( and No I don’t think Bigfoot exists)

Coincidence that this is also a map of industrial runoff into drinking water

I’m assuming the sightings in Florida are “really” the Skunk Ape.

(I actually do think a non-negligible portion of Skunk Ape sightings are legitimate, in the sense that people really are seeing a non-human primate. That said, it’s probably an escaped chimpanzee or orangutan or something.)

My dad lived in the Pittsburgh area during one summer in the early seventies and had an experience. I could believe it.

  8. I visited the Black Hills in western South Dakota after about two decades of not having been there and for some reason there was a TON of Bigfoot merchandise. I’ve never heard of Bigfoot sightings in the Black Hills before, but then there’s an influx of all this stuff?

I joked that it was all the wholesale outlet mall restocks from Washington and Oregon.

  9. So, thousands of observations in recent years and not a single photo or video with a quality higher than 320×240?

It seems bigfoot population has been increased quite dramatically in last 50 years.

  11. No data on Alaska? I’ve literally seen a Bigfoot near Fairbanks a couple summers ago

  12. I put Bigfoot sightings in the same dumb category as flat earthers. Particularly given that the famous Bigfoot video,, which carried this creature’s mythical story so far, was officially debunked by the actual guy who did it.

It’s pretty humiliating that, in this economy, Bigfoot is more travelled than I am.
