Montenegro and Kosovo have the same values but different colour. Looks like Kosovo should be yellow

  2. And if you look at Luxembourg, you can see that this rate is boosted by quite a margin by foreigners while luxembourgers have one close to 1 or even below 1

  3. this problem would lowkey go away if we simply took away some women’s rights and make it like the 1930s

  4. This is main cause of immigration to Europe, I’d like to see a similar map of Africa and Asia

All by design, too. Manufacture an affordability crisis and suddenly smart people stop having kids.

I spent so many years worrying about plummeting TFR rates across the world that at this point it doesnt faze me in the slightest.
Every time I see someone blaming cost of living causing this, I just smile and keep scrolling

  8. Every country has many reasons for the number It’s at.

    This was predicted decades ago.

Except Ukraine, they were promised by Russia never to be invaded. Now they are rightly worried.

Why do we need to keep making more people at an exponential rate?

Add 10 other stats per country added to the fertility stat. Economy, housing prices, income difference between the rich and middle class, stability, geopolitical worries, corruption, war,…

Why is it so high in France where men are supposed to raise even other men’s kids even if that man finds out? What’s the incentive for men for having kids?

  10. What I see is a future of more job openings (for a while only) and cheaper properties.
