  1. I’m very high on hopium. They already started taking their valuables outside the country because they know they are about to lose.

And they WILL cheat, already started buying votes for potatoes, manipulate votes from outside the country, but the people who are awake are now in such a majority that they are unlikely to succeed. Or at least I hope so. Very much.

Not if people don’t vote against him.

Fachists have best tactic securing clear victory. To make opposition think their vote doesn’t count. Low voting numbers is always victory for fachists.

There are tons of russian bots saying „oh but the elegäction is rigged“ and other bs like thst, just to demoralize people.

Other thing is to make opposition look as crooked as the leader. „Both are the same“ just to make opposition think they’d be voting for crook anyways and it is better not to vote.

Go vote goddamnit, and make sure it’s not orban.

  3. Last time his party received 45% of the vote but won 91% of seats. It’ll take a landslide.

  4. I can’t even imagine the amount of insanely crooked bullshit that Orban and Fidesz will throw at it on the day, but I really hope so.

Vance is there now trying to drum up support for him. Never say never that a sitting VP would support a dictator. Guess we should have paid more attention to last years CPAC.

Most likely not. A man like him does not trust in the system I’m sure he got some „insurance“

One can only hope, let’s see what the hungarians will choose and how hard he’s going to cheat

  8. Yeah he will lose. Hopefully Tisza also wins the 2/3 majority. The polls indicate this is very much within reach.

Unseated? The Hungarians want way more than that. The nation wants to see them behind bars for what they have done. Judging by the current public mood, I think we will not rest until this happens.

    On Polymarket 71-29 to Tisza.

It’s more than likely Orban will be dumped to the rubbish heap of history. At least!! The immune system of Hungary started working.

I really hope Hungarians are finally willing to embrace the future. I have too many Hungarian friends here in the UK who have left and have sworn never to return home until this fucking asshole gets fucked under a bus or…well not re elected.

And even if – not like Magyar is a much better candidate. Not on EU politics nor on Ukraine. Give him 4 years and his polics will be as corrupt as the current ones. Hungary’s problems are rooted deeper than that. And I fear if we don’t start to adress similar issues in the whole of the EU we don’t stand a chance in defending or values against the US, Russia, China and mass migration.

The issue is that you are replacing him with a former Orban man who knows how the system works and knows the moneymen. Hence every corrupt oligarch will meet with the new prime minister and agree on the same deals yet the new leader will become a billionaire after all is done. If he says no he may get assassinated like we saw with the prime minister in Serbia when he tried to improve the system. Even if left alone he’ll forgo billions and the country may lose billions as they move to Russia and take all the wealth with them. Without their wealth workers won’t get paid. Meaning his approval rating will tank and he’ll be kicked out next election. There is really no choices here the system is so extremely corrupt that it will either implode or you kick the can down the road hoping it will implode after you leave office.

Best case scenario is imprisoning a few very low ranking criminals for 2 years each. Then continue on while claiming victory.
