      At the heart of the Artemis II mission is ESA’s European Service Module, which powers, propels and sustains the Orion spacecraft and its crew on their journey around the Moon and safely back to Earth.

      How does media in your country cover this flight? Here in Czechia the mainstream media doesn’t care at all, just few short articles which even didn’t make it to the title screen. I think major event like people returning to the Moon after almost 60 years *should* be on the title screen with live updates every hour. But no, they just write about Ukraine, Trump, Iran and fuel prices all over again and again.

      The daybwe can do the majority of the work ourselves and send people up to space I will give af. At the moment the Americans allow us to be involved but its not really something that they cant do by themselves

      Some information on the service module:

      The service module provides in-space propulsion capability for orbital transfer, altitude control, and high altitude ascent aborts. It provides the water and oxygen needed for a habitable environment, generates and stores electrical power, and maintains the temperature of the vehicle’s systems and components. The module can also transport unpressurized cargo and scientific payloads.
