Might be one of my favorite space videos of all time.

This looks straight out of a movie. Oh my goodness.

    2. So beautiful. This shot took my breath away on the live stream. We should be doing more of this and less fighting.

    3. I love how they put their best camera in the top of the first stage, what a beautiful shot.

Unreal. Godspeed to the brave explorers.

And as always, I’m in awe of the incredible individuals that make these moments possible.

Lovely. Hoping for more footage from the spacecraft itself and cabin!

    6. This shit is so cool man. People 100 years ago would have never thought and i just wonder what would blow our minds 100 years from now

As jaded as I am right now, this brings me close to tears.

      Godspeed Artemis II.

    8. its wild to me how small the second stage is. Like the core stage is so massively huge and is needed to get into orbit. Its almost comical how small the rest of it is to get to the moon. Unless maybe im just underestimating how efficient and powerful rockets have gotten these days.

It’s just absolutely mind blowing that I had no idea this was gonna happen today. Or even that this was actually even happening at all. Im not sure how I feel about that. Haha.

    10. Anyone know if the footage will be uploaded to watch back as a proper video, rather than how low quality and intermittent the live stream was?

    11. Easily could be most memorable moment till now. Fun to watch it live but was dissatisfied by the fact feed didn’t last very long.

And they laughed at me when I said it’s so cold in space, there _has_ to be snow 👍🏻

Gorgeous shot. Incredible implications. It’s odd for such a short clip to evoke so many different emotions all at once.

Now imagine if we funded NASA even close to the level we funded the military.

We’d probably have a moon base by now, and have sent man to Mars.

honestly we don’t have better audio compression algos yet? Sounds exactly how it did in the 60’s
