A spokesperson for former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has responded after The Daily Mail reported that her husband, Byron Noem, cross-dresses and wears fake breasts.

„Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” Kristi Noem’s representatives told The New York Post.

National security experts told The Daily Mail that Byron Noem’s online activity, including comments about his wife, could have left Kristi Noem vulnerable to blackmail.

„‚If a media organization can find this out, you can assume with a high degree of confidence that a hostile intelligence service knows this as well,“ former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos told the outlet.

Byron Noem said he „made no comments like that, that would lead to that,“ according to the outlet.

I keep seeing this phrase repeated throughout the reporting on this.

My question would be: How tuned-out of the relationship do you have to be to have *no fucking clue* your own husband is cross-dressing?

It doesn’t speak well of her powers of observation, does it?
