Brüssel fordert Kiew auf, die Reformen zu beschleunigen oder Milliarden zu riskieren

I’ll be blunt it will take decades for Ukraine to implement the reforms required for EU membership. If you thought Hungary was a bin fire Ukraine is 10x worse. Never mind the single issue of cheap Ukrainian agriculture that will cause an uprising with farmers and why quietly most EU countries don’t support Ukrainian accession (just look at the protectionist club who came out to oppose the MERCOSUR deal).

It drives me crazy to see members of the parliament not attending or voting in important sessions. The entire situation is completely fucked up – we have Zelenskyi constantly interfering with the parliament, we have parliament members themselves, who are at odds with the president and only care about their benefits and safety, since the amount of corruption charges has soared up recently. Last but not least, we have a new prime minister who isn’t that popular among the elites.

And yet, somehow, all polls show unprecedented trust in both the president and the government.
