YES this is a thing, a bit oldfashioned nowadays though.

i mean, technicaly its not a pizza variant, its an open-ended cheese sandwitch „ostesmørbrød“

had them a lot when i was a kid, because theyre so easy to make. you take a slice of bread, ketchup, and cheese, put it in the oven to melt and thats all you really need, though i used to have „grillkrydder“ on top too.

not as common nowadays, but it is a think done, at least in my family.

PS: that one looks undercooked though.
