  1. Most people just want to live their lives in peace. Media and governments on the other hand, have an incentive to stir things up.

Everything is overhyped; governments and media just manufacture hate to further the elite’s interests.

And most people fall for it because they are incapable of understanding nuance.

  3. Saying “honest” twice to try to prove something means the statement is BS. 🤣

It’s like any country, some people believe the government and get riled up, but the majority just want to live their lives. The economy and taking care of their families is all that matters.

Sure. Everything against China is overhyped on Reddit. Hell, it is not like whenever China had any problem, they will bring up Japan as a distraction and it is not like we were taught about the total annihilation of Japanese by our parents since we were kids.

Why are they listening to one guy? One businessman doesn’t see an impact… ok? Maybe he is lucky or just lives in a bubble?

  7. When I visited Shanghai in December to catch up with friends. There were 1) a lot of Japanese tourists 2) the shonen store was packed with a queue outside 3) a lot of Japanese bars and restaurants busy.

Mainly I think the only people who really give into this stuff is like taxi drivers who are on the older side or more rural places

China has always been very tolerant of Japan. There are Japanese schools in China (for family members of visiting ambassadors and business people). Have you ever heard of Chinese schools in Japan?
