       If you start a war be prepared to use your land, people and resources to fight it. Don’t go around begging to endanger different people to reach your goals. Go back home and fire the missiles, drones, send the B-2  Bombers straight from the US if this war must continue

      Guys It’s only because the US didn’t warn the Italian government that some jets were supposed to land in Sigonella. Otherwise, if they had been informed, they would certainly have said yes! After all, Meloni wanted to give the Nobel Prize to Trump…

      Italy is absolutely right to enforce its bilateral agreements. Just because the U.S. is a major ally does not mean they have a blank check to use European soil as a launchpad for any conflict they choose, especially one that the European public does not support. If the U.S. wants to ignore existing treaties and skip the notification process, they should be prepared for the logistical nightmare of flying around the continent instead of through it.

      There’s no downside to this. Everyone hates Trump, so it’s a quick easy political win, and Italy knows that the US will still quickly and immediately help and pay-for its defense if it was ever attacked. Win-win.
