That’s what happens when you get cancer and have shitty healthcare. Hopefully it’s quick, painful, and everlasting.

Sorry to disappoint everybody but they don’t disappear easily just like maggots.

MAGA is a form of mental health sickness that forces you to worship a fascist leader like Donald Trump.

The conservative movement goes through rebranding cycles every few years, on account of how unpopular the applied governance of conservatism is. Then they rebranded into Trump and he refuses to let any rebranding occur.

Whoever took that picture of the girl kneeling infront of the trump picture deserves an award.

    5. So movements like MAGA are cannibalistic in the sense that they purity test the members often and kick out those who don’t keep to the line. Then you add in a cult of personality figure like Trump, and eventually that environment will collapse in on itself. When he is gone, MAGA will splinter, but if people don’t act to remove those who enabled this, it will go into the shadows and begin to grow again.

MAGA is just the current incarnation, when it’s gone there will be a new sociopath for those subhuman creatures to worship

    7. For the record, they don’t give a damn that Roe was overturned, and that innocent people are harmed as a result.

They don’t care about January 6 or the fact that he pardoned every single one of those traitorous insurrectionists.

They don’t care about the dismantling of USAID, and the millions of lives lost as a result, nor the inhumanity and cruelty with which it was carried out.

They don’t give a damn about the dismantling of the department of education.

They don’t give a damn about the open corruption and lawlessness.

They don’t give a damn about the countless violations of the constitution.

They don’t give a damn about the taking away of due process or disappearing people to concentration camps in third world countries.

They don’t care about masked thugs, murdering US citizens.

They don’t care about the Kavanaugh stop.

They certainly don’t care about canceling grants for cancer research or HIV research.

And they don’t care about the fact that he’s a pedophile, they don’t care about protecting children, they don’t care about stopping child sex trafficking. They don’t care about ANY of it.

Except, apparently, another Middle East catastrophe.

      Edit typo

      >the conservative backlash against those who were “J-pilled” (far-right slang for skepticism of Israeli influence), the backbreaking costs of American life…..

Okay, dare I ask what the „J“ in „J-pilled“ stands for?

Edit: Just looked it up. Yeah, it’s exactly what you think it is.

    9. So the youngins are turning into actual Hitler youth and the old guard wants to stay MAGA.

*insert meme of a self styled moderate choosing between those two buttons*

Something like Q Anon will crop up supported by shady money to continue the work. Corporations will buy shill Democrats and the game will continue. People will probably get complacent, and the slide will continue unabated.

Or maybe people are finally awake and involved. /s

As someone who teaches middle school, it is absolutely shocking how many young teens are Trump fans (not even going to call them supporters). They are strongly pro-ICE and love how obnoxious he is. Probably reminds them of the kind of idiots they love on Tik Tok. Coincidentally (and somewhat ironically), they are also pretty religious (or at the very least, say they are).

As a 37 year old, I grew up in the era of “young = liberal”. I think that has completely changed for the worse.

    12. This is just their way of beginning the process to pretend they were never MAGA in the first place.

The President of the United States of America is a pedophile. Maybe young people have more of a problem with that than boomers.

    14. OpaqusOpaqus on

A bunch of pedophiles or pedophile apologists attended an event hosted by pedophiles and this is NYT’s hard-hitting article about it? Great thanks guys, great work, fuck off

I mean the term MAGA means Make America Great Again….it’s clearly not even close to heading in that direction and is in fact heading off the cliff. What made America great was empathy and prosperity and growth and small businesses. You don’t travel to cities to eat at fast food restaurants you travel to eat and support local businesses. That is what makes America great, middle class hardworking immigrants and Americans, not billionaires and Whole Foods.

That’s not good enough. We need conservatism to die. Is a failed ideology and it’s the root cause of a significant amount of the country’s problems

    17. It doesn’t matter if it’s dying. The damage is done. It’s going to be very hard to forgive.

    18. MAGA achieved its purpose. It kept pedophiles out of jail and they got us into a blood for land exchange in Iran on behalf of Israel. They didn’t know that was their purpose, they thought they were saving America from corruption and pedophiles somehow by electing the most corrupt pedophile on the planet. But they’ve accomplished their goal and are no longer needed, so they can die as a movement now, and it will because none of them are benefiting from anything Trump is doing.

    19. Feels like Trump was the n@z1 test. I feel like the next “Trump” will be a full blown public white supremacist
