  1. The article includes a montage of Russians turning their rifles on themselves btw, so don’t watch that if you don’t want to see that

A lot of the guys in the combat footage sure seem resigned to their fate. Wandering around aimlessly and when the inevitable drone comes they’re just oh well that’s it I guess

  3. They got some brutal compilations of their drone work against the russians, certainly convinced me it’s not a good idea to go there hopefully the russians get the message

We are at the point where the „meat grinder“ is so loud that the soldiers are choosing to jump in early just to stop hearing the noise. When your military strategy relies on deploying literal serial killers and „infiltration by pairs“ into a drone-filled wasteland, you aren’t building an army; you are building a pressurized container of human misery. The FSB is busy expelling diplomats for „intimidation“ while their own front line is having a collective, fatal breakdown.

  5. I asked Copilot to summarize this tragic article and the AI commented that it is ‚interesting‘ that drones are changing behavior patterns of soldiers with a machine-like apathy. The infinite progress of technologies such as drones and AI are terrifying. We are inching toward enslaving ourselves to machines to get more money and land.

I have no sympathy for Russian soldiers, but this is not a good way to die. Alone, cold, wounded, surrounded by killing machines. The future of war is bleak, even more than it was.

  7. A guy on the Ukraine war subs was making a wiki type list of the videos of Russians killing themselves.

He stopped after around 300… Almost a year ago.

Why dont they just surrender? Ukrakne has a policy of treating Russian pows well?

At this point they could just fly around without explosives and the enemy could decide to unalive themselves at the sight of these drones.

  10. This is so horrible man. War makes you numb to things that are outrageous.

If only one of those same man shot himself in the center of any city in the world it would be a tragedy that would be talked about in the news and on the streets for weeks.

And here we’re getting dozens if not hundreds happening all the time without blinking an eye.

No sympathy for the Russian politics from my side but can’t help to think that maybe these guys weren’t even there on their own will and since day one just wanted to go home.

As someone that both has Ukrainian and Russian personal friends it feels so shocking to think that one day I could open one of these videos and see either of them there.

How did we get to this. And how do we get out of this.

Sometimes, actually, most times, I think the world would be better off without politicians. I know. Its not realistic.

Oh there are HUNDREDS of videos of soldiers committing suicide post-hit.

2x with knives, 1x used another drone, countless grenades (one I will never forget bc he tucked it under his flak vest in the snow so he “bloomed.”), and countless firearm suicides.

Drone are suicide machines. If they dont kill you outright they compel you to suicide.

    This is very sad….
Remember they are ordinary people, taken advantage by (an) old, idiot politician(s)

This could be any of us

  14. The drone compilations from Ukraine have made me increasingly apathetic to their war effort.

Drones should just fly around them until they take their own life so that drone can be used somewhere else without getting wasted.

  16. I mean weight your options in that situation. Drones are incredibly difficult to shoot down bc they’re small, agile, fly extremely fast and target you from far enough away that they look like a speck in the sky. You can either:

    A) try to shoot it down anyway, but probably fail and end up exploded. You if you’re REALLY lucky, you manage to stop it. However there are also 6 more circling you waiting their turn next. Mild luck, you die instantly when it mashed into your face/head. Its messy but insta lights-out. Otherwise, you earn a surprise-lottery limb amputation and complimentary severe shrapnel injury. Also you’re russian, you KNOW theres no help or med-evac coming, so you just get to watch the full-length secret post-credits scene of your life in full pov.

    B) Decide you had a good run and blow the back of your skull out. It’s scary to accept at first, but the moment the hammer falls its instant lights-out, you never even heard the gunshot.

  17. A quick death via bullet to the brain, or getting eviscerated by grenades/bombs and then slowly bleed out in a trench.

Not much of a choice there.

It’s shocking to see it the first time, but after you’ve seen them shoot their mates in the head rather than offer aid it becomes less shocking.

The latest one I saw was two blokes were hit with a drone, the one who was left standing shot his mate in the head then shot himself.

They are also taught to hold grenades under their chins on next to their chest to commit suicide as they are brainwashed into thinking the Ukrainians will torture and kill them just like the Russians do.

Good, that is a deserving end for someone who wants to participate in an invasion, all in the name of a mobster
