„perfect time for higher industrial carbon tax“
-Carney.
‚Removing the fuel tax isnt gonna save you that much money‘ -Danielle Smith last week.
Yay. Even less money in my pocket (the only consistency in our lives these days.)
Everything keeps increasing . Everything . insurance , fuel , grocery’s , rent , transit , vehicles and that’s just to mention a few .. Are we not all at our breaking point ? Like what the hell
If only we produced enough petroleum to meet our domestic needs with a surplus. Oh ya, we do… but we have to pay world market prices for some reason. Hmmmm.
Thanks, America
Well, no better time to find alternative farming practices that use less diesel
What my $800 biweekly groceries aren’t extremely high as it is? Fuck
Brother…they are already are extremely high
I guess it’s time to start gathering
>“If they could maybe help at the pump, that would be great, because obviously there’s a gas tax, which is extremely high,” he said. “If they could lower the gas tax, that would not only help the truckers and all those good folks, but the farmers would be directly impacted.”
Too bad the government will never do this.
I’ve seen the price of cavier sky rocket lately. My cavier guy told me to expect a 20% increase in the next month. Cutting down to having it only once a week as a result
Food for thought. The government likes and benefits from higher fuel prices. They don’t care about the impact on you.
When gas is $1.15 a litre the HST is 0.15 or 0.13 depending on your province.
When gas is $2.30 the hst is 0.30 or 0.26
Ie the government makes more money on higher fuel prices. Not to mention all the road taxes…
Maybe reverse RTO to put money back in people’s pocket?
Seems like one easy solution.
