The only thing they seem to care about right now, is burying the epstein files, and any other illegal activity they may be doing through the mid terms. Human lives troops or civilian and monetary assets are pretty much just a means to and end to freely burn through, unless the discraced bought or blackmailed elected officials show some backbone. Nobody is holding their breath.
The real critical nuancr here is look at where they hit it – Exactly and precisely on the radar. These AWACs are over 50 years old and much of the craftsmanship and tooling required to build more just doesnt exist. They ploughed it all into missiles and subterfuge experiments.
Iran hit this plane right in its nuts. Hitting it anywhere else would have yielded a small chance that the radar apparatus would have survived. This was on the dot.
