I think the audience was just confused about what they were being asked. They were expecting the opener to be positive. They, like most crowds, expected the hype man to actually hype and not throw out a question reminding them how hated their president is.
It was a fucking bizarre way to get the crowd whipped up for Trump. But I guess the guy couldn’t think of any actual accomplishments.
