The German Empire was formed in 1871 after unification under Prussia, bringing together dozens of smaller states into a single power.

By 1914, it sat at the center of Europe, bordering multiple rival empires including France and Russia. This made it both powerful and highly vulnerable in a large-scale war.

Within four years, the empire collapsed and lost significant territory, helping shape the modern map of Europe.

1871 – 1918 – that’s how it looked like for the whole 47 years… fortunately not for long.

Flevoland in the Netherlands did not exist around that time.

So much was taken away from Germany due to the decision of a few nobles and mad men. Now modern day Germans have to live on smaller space just cause of the decisions of people of the past, thats not fair.
