Non-stop stories every night about “Affordability in America.” I watched NBC Nightly News just about every day, and without fail every day they were going to some backwater hellhole to talk to voters about how expensive everything was. There were stories about moms that could no longer afford the 3 dozen eggs they bought every day.
Here we are, less than 2 years later and almost everything keeps going up in price, almost all directly related to Trump. Nothing on the news. In case anyone was still wondering about how even news programs presenting themselves as “center” can have an effect on popular sentiment.
