Seeing this right over the article about the PM complaining that the Air Canada condolence video wasn’t in French is just *chef kiss*

We hit new levels of unseriousness each day.

Gary is the the most useless Carney minister of the bunch, and that’s really saying something when you consider that they have Miller, Anand, Joly, and the rest of Trudeau’s carnival of failures in the mix.

Keep voting for this guys, surely after 10 years something will change right?

    Oh look:

Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree, the least credible person I know with matching lack of integrity.

I am forced fo automatically dismiss anything he has to say, because he has already demonstrated he talks out of both sides of his mouth *and* somehow retains the support of Carney.

“the IRB determines at the end of a hearing that the person is inadmissible”
That’s the same Immigration and Refugee Board who’s rubber stamping all those bogus claims without an hearing, in case you’re wondering.

This should so obviously be a bipartisan issue.
I don’t understand how this doesn’t have more upvotes

  7. Canada is all about fifth and sixth chances when it comes to deportation and when all of those are exhausted, the pending deportees can try playing the CBC sob story option to get some ministerial meddling for a reprieve.

The same guy who got lost getting to Cabinet announcements at Rideau Hall a few years ago. He literally just had to walk straight up a driveway to the main door, but got lost and went in through a side door.

Iran is zero danger to us. Carney refused to take part in the war. As long as they aren’t spying over the boarder, I would prefer to keep communication channels open.
It’s also possible they may win this war and then our shipping will be able to pass freely through the straight.

  10. How do we ensure that only extremely qualified, extremely intelligent, and extremely patriotic people end up as ministers in this country?

  11. I was told Carney would get us back on track. I’m still waiting.

And given the reversals on tfw’s, I think I’m going to be waiting for a long time.

    Quoting Anandasangaree in the article:

    > „When somebody is alleged to be a member of a terrorist entity we have due process, but we also have a legal standard that we have to abide by“

These things take time and due process is something we should be applauding. Any responsible government that takes its job seriously would be doing the same.

To me this all sounds like a sensationalized political ‘gotcha’ moment and little else. It creates a headline and riles people up.

  13. I’m sure our Secretary of State (Nature) has all the answers for anything public security related /s
