Your daily quota of incompetent Russian military news is now full
He had to see it coming though…
A microcosm of the bubble many Russians are in, somehow protected from the brutal reality of the war instigated in their names. It’s the impoverished people from peripherals torn apart at the front while the privileged carry on as though everything is perfectly normal. Russian aviation blogger, good grief!
Seems like a good candidate for a Darwin Award. There’s a time and a place for everything and that was not it.
If anyone is known for friendly fire, it’s them
Tragic but ultimately avoidable, I cannot think of a worse hobby to take up during a time of war.
Russia killed more Russians
Did he fall out of the plane’s window? Typical Putin.
Dumbass was flying a plane during a war
Air defense works.
I can’t get the article to open, but if I’m being honest ultralight aircraft usually do kind of look like a drone. It was maybe ill advised to do this during an active war. Sadly I bet his government has been lying to him, and saying that there is no serious conflict.
Darwinism in action. You’ve got to be a complete numbskull to chose to fly something like that near a missile factory during a drone attack
The Russian troops are dumb, we all know that much. But who in their right mind would want to go flying their own aircraft in an ACTIVE MILITARY ZONE?! How did you expect this would end?
Whats Russian for „oopsie doodles“?
Flying in a warzone
Russia is going to bill his family for the missile.
At first, I was blaming the amateur pilot thinking he was doing a stunt near the border but this wasn’t the case. He was just flying somewhere south of Moscow away from Ukraine so it’s the inept Russian Military at fault and showing how scared they are
It’s only a matter of time before their air defense takes down a civilian airliner.
They’ll claim it was Ukraine anyway.
>The crash site lies close to a facility that produces Iskander missiles, which have been widely used in the war in Ukraine, potentially contributing to the aircraft being misidentified amid increased drone activity.
For anyone wondering, this idiot was flying south-east of Moskow near a military factory in a period when Ukrainian drones return the SMO back to russia.
Was it an error though? It’s not as if the mighty russia federation wouldn’t kill one of its own if he/she w/e said something the kremlin didn’t like.
He was not interested in politics, btw.
What a country!
I kinda feel like he should have known better than to be both russian and in a state of flight.
What air defence doin?
Flying through an active warzone is not in your favour.
„Do you see torpedo boats?“
Hmmm, now what shall I have for breakfast.
“Enemy Glider!!! Enemy Glider!!”
What Air Defence doin
What an идиот
What a genius. From the country who downed 2 airliners, this idiot decided to fly in a war zone area
That‘s in the same category of idiotic idea as doing a pleasure sailing cruise in the english channel during WW2.
Thats like running through an open zoo in a suit made entirely out of meat. Fucking idiots these russians
Another russian pilot who can’t kill people anymore.
How much variety do we really need in our meals?
So I had a sandwich for dinner last night and now I’m thinking about having another sandwich for lunch. I don’t really understand the shame I feel in this dilemma when it’s not a nutritional issue.
He was young, educated and most likely had access to the unrestricted/ uncensored internet. There’s no way that he didn’t know that Ukraine attacks Russia with drones on a daily basis. He took the risk and died a meaningless, avoidable death. RIP though. Any inocent life is a tragic loss.
Was he a critical blogger,
Lol. Eternal flight to him.
In Russia, missile shoot you! 😀
Now that’s the only blog Russians read
One fewer missile to use against Ukraine’s fight for freedom is a win in my book, however it comes. Cannot imagine how privileged you have to be to be a fucking „aviation blogger“ flying random airplanes you presumably own/rent, while your country is invading its democratic neighbor and murdering its children. Oh and in the same airspace that drones fly in.
Guy seemed to be prime age to be drafted but of course he’s the „right kind“ of Russian so he was safe unlike the conscripts from prisons or the far East. Clearly if he could afford to be an aviation blogger he could *more than* afford to leave Russia so not even the Russian apologists can find an excuse here. He didn’t leave because he enjoyed his life in Russia and wasn’t personally affected by its atrocities, perhaps even supported them. At the very least he found no issue in supporting the Russian economy since he wasn’t personally affected by anything. Well, now he has been. As others have said, it would be a Darwin Award if not for him unfortunately already procreating. Two fewer people contributing to Russia’s illegal war is a good day.
Flying an ultralight while at war with a neighboring country doesn’t seem like a very smart idea
